Even though George Lucas promised not to make any more Star Wars films, that doesn’t mean someone else won’t swoop in and try to. Just in from Deadline,Disney has acquired Lucasfilm for an estimated $4.05 billion, a transaction that gives them the rights to the Star Wars franchise. Reportedly, they’re going to waste no time taking advantage of that, and have plans for another installment to the saga – Star Wars: Episode VII – to be released in 2015.
