I heard Ron Slyda through #twitter then experienced his last project “The Ratchett World of Ron Slyda”. I recently met @RON_SLYDA face to face out on #southbeach and he gave me a copy of “The Rocket A Musicool”. I’ve been riding around listening to this for about a week now so I could get a good feel of it. I don’t know if these are original beats or samples but they are soulful, funky and laid back. Slyda has a unique sound that you wouldn’t normally hear or expect from a artist in #Miami. He tells life stories like Lil Boosie, has smooth beats similar to Currency and has that #SouthFlorida lingo. Listening to life through his words you can really sympathize and feel what this man is saying because he is speaking his soul on this tape. My favorite track #12 is a banger that speaks to the #ladies about relationships and #sex.
